LauraAnn created this firm to serve with integrity and fidelity. She has worked in both urban and suburban school districts serving in various teaching and administrative capacities. Her most compelling experiences are co-teaching, supervision opportunities, management appointments, school union representative roles, and serving as district representative for unique special education legal cases. LauraAnn is trained and certified to serve the field of education effectively. LauraAnn believes in the coined phrase, “service to others is the rent you pay for room on this earth,” stated by Shirley Chisholm. Leading schools, administrators, teachers, parents, and community partners to make sound decisions is her treasured task. As a former special educator, reading specialist, and administrator she truly believes that the field of education is a service industry. LauraAnn holds teaching licenses in the areas of special education and reading. She has a Master of Education in the area of Curriculum and Instruction from Cleveland State University and a doctoral degree, in Educational Leadership for Organizations, from the University of Dayton. LauraAnn is an Adjunct Professor at Cleveland State University and Tennessee State University, instructing courses in the department of teaching and learning.
